I would like to suggest making page view statistics available on the wiki. Maybe by installing some plugin for that?

Is this the right place to request something like this?

Why?

Information doesn't become more accurate as more people view it.

@MarkMLI: I for one like a feature on StackOverflow a lot that says something like "You reached ~3k viewers", refering to the page hits your posts accumulated. I just would like to have a hint about how many views a wiki article gets. Some kind of motivational incentive to maybe add further articles is involved here, I admit.

This metric is wildly inaccurate. My PPCG.SE account has zero people reached despite upvoted answers. On other SE sites you suddenly “earn” 100,000 views as soon as a single person upvotes your answer. This is not plausible.

There is apparently no right place. It gets ignored in the bugtracker as well.
