I like the clean view of the design. I find the color a bit boring.
I like the Easter egg, although I liked the Easter egg in the previous one as well.
For those who did not notice:
The cheetah is sitting on top of an ionic column head just like the ones from the temple of Apollo in Delphi.

Well, I am not an expert in this, but
- According to https://architecturecompetitions.com/the-3-orders-of-ancient-greek-architecture the ionic is with the scroll-like ornament.
- The cheetah sits on a column head with the scroll-like ornament, so on an ionic one.
- It only makes sense if the ionic is from Delphi.
- This is in line with all the images I found for the Apollo temple in Delphi:
https://www.alamy.com/ionic-column-temple-of-apollo-delphi-central-greece-greece-image150070457.html
https://www.alamy.com/greece-delphi-ionic-column-fragment-in-the-sanctuary-of-apollo-image6803543.html
https://www.pinterest.com/pin/16-ionic-column-fragment-in-temple-of-apollo--855121047974100077/
So, I think the temple of Apollo in Delphi is Ionic.

There is another Temple of Apollo like 300Km away in Bassae of Phigaleia and that has Doric column heads:

I like it. Maybe you could make some version in different colours, maybe some of them might look even better?

Yes, of course, we can experiment with color endlessly, but we are unlikely to find a color that will suit the majority, because people's color preferences are a very subjective concept.

I specifically avoided saturated, bright tones in order to achieve a certain metallicity and monochrome, which better conveys the cold and strict mood of high technology.
But I am very pleased with the involvement of community members and, of course, I will be happy to add a few more color variations.

I hope you like them  :)

So, I think the temple of Apollo in Delphi is Ionic.

I didn't know about that fragment, but the temple is of Doric order, which you can see and read from f.e. (the simplest) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Temple_of_Apollo_(Delphi).
EDIT: I suppose that this fragment is from Stoa of the Athenians: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stoa_of_the_Athenians.

BTW, cheetah sits on another ionic column, not from photos from your links.

How about something like option D but leaning more towards the lilac/purple with a hint of the smoky grey of the original?  ;)

@LBox. Sorry for offtopic about Delphi columns.
I like your splash screen, except the spots of cheetah. May they be more natural, not regular ellipses?

I really like the gold E version!  Looks awesome!  Even the G green version looks great to me.  The Free Pascal and Lazarus titles look very plain though... i wonder how they may look with some sort of drop shadows or something to just add a little pop to it.... ?  Not sure... I am horrible with graphics...

First, I like the offering, it looks very nice.

With the above out of the way, I am of the opinion that the combination of Free Pascal and Lazarus is something special.  For all the languages and development environments out there, the only one that is genuinely comparable is Delphi (which should come as no surprise.)  Because of this, I am of the opinion that Lazarus and Free Pascal would be best served with a graphic that exemplifies how special the combination is.

What I'd really like to see is an ambigram of some sort, something along the lines of what you find at https://www.scottkim.com/blog/categories/ambigrams

Needless to say, it takes a rather high level of graphic talent to produce something like that (which I can only dream of having) but, I believe that something like that would genuinely represent how special the Lazarus/Free Pascal combination is.

Trivia: Scott Kim's ambigrams were featured in an issue of the now defunct but at one time premier magazine: Byte.

I believe there is enough talent of all kinds in this forum to create something like that for Lazarus/FPC.

While I'm at it, not only I'd like to see a graphic that could do justice to the Lazarus/FPC combination but also one that could be "inherited" from by apps developed using them and used by those apps to point out they were developed using the FPC/Lazarus combination.  OOGD (Object Oriented Graphic Design ;) )
(FPC v3.0.4 and Lazarus 1.8.2) or (FPC v3.2.2 and Lazarus v3.2) on Windows 7 SP1 64bit.

DUH.... At the time I placed the cheetah on the column, I was looking for some picture which was recognizable as a "greek" column. I didn't think of its origin.

Marc

BTW, someone in this thread was talking about pictures in the current splash. On the splash they are not. The originals were, but the ones used are the vectorized versions of them.
