Fatal: Cannot find xlib used by Gtk2Int of package LCL.
« on: November 02, 2024, 04:23:31 am »
HI, I have a empty form which I just tried to compile and run. And it tells me:
Code: Text  [Select][+][-]
  1. gtk2int.pas(37,6) Fatal: Cannot find xlib used by Gtk2Int of package LCL.
I have attached a screenshot. No, I have not fiddled with anything or changed any settings. I just wanted to start a new project and this happens? Do I ask dpkg to reinstall all over again? Or? Strange thing is after initially installing and testing everything worked just fine. Help!

Oh sorry forgot to mention this below:
Code: Text  [Select][+][-]
  1. aruna@debian:~$ sudo apt install libx11-dev libgtk2.0-dev
  2. Reading package lists... Done
  3. Building dependency tree... Done
  4. Reading state information... Done
  5. libx11-dev is already the newest version (2:1.8.4-2+deb12u2).
  6. libx11-dev set to manually installed.
  7. libgtk2.0-dev is already the newest version (2.24.33-2+deb12u1).
  8. 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 5 not upgraded.
