How to import keyboard layout ?
« on: October 15, 2024, 11:26:45 am »
Hello, everyone! Lazarus allows exporting keyboard layouts to XML, but I can't find an option to import these settings back. How can I import an exported keyboard layout XML into Lazarus to transfer the configuration between environments?

I think (need to check) the files will be found from your primary-config-path.

In your PCP create a subdirectory name /userkeyschemes/
And in that dir place the keymaps as xml. (must end in .xml)

Your PCP can be found in
View > Ide Internals > About IDE

Yes, that helped, thank you. In fact, I had already placed the XML file in that config folder, I just needed to select it in the "Load a scheme" dialog.
