Does the IDE have a terminal plugin for command line stuff?
« on: October 13, 2024, 04:08:39 am »
Is there a plugin that can embedded a terminal window to enable terminal stuff to be done?

I guess I have to answer my own question in Stack Overflow st

Yes there is:

Forum post  - https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php?topic=64806.0

Github Repo - https://github.com/sysrpl/Lazarus.Terminal

I had actually installed but I thought I had only installed the component for use in my own programs, but there is also a plugin version integrated into the IDE which I had forgotten about.

Only shortcoming is that it is for GTK3 and more of Qt guy.

PS. Can't Qt and GTK3 components be usesd in the same program if they are used directly rather than through the LCL interface?
Lazarus 3.0/FPC 3.2.2
