Just want to throw one thing out there if people are trying to understand uses for block chain other than crypto currencies.  I for one keep envisioning a block chain being used in elections to track votes.  Can you imagine in this day and age there is elections where it takes days or even weeks to do simple recounts?  Block chain technology can be a solution to election security all over the world.

What you choose to name troll trap could be construed as gatekeeping and/or obstacles to entry.
I know that young padawans will never opt for IRC. Hence me preferring Discord to engage with them. But nonetheless, having that road block in place is not very friendly to any member of the community, be it Jedi Master or Padawan...

But just my 2c. Nothing worth of noticing by anyone!!

Not only did you get stuck in the troll trap but you then proceeded to my easy to enter #pascal help channel and proceeded to troll there about your hatred of me and my troll trap that you got stuck in   

If you were so fun to talk to you wouldn’t need to use exploits to circumvent the anti harassment forum features. I challenge anyone reading this to try to add Gustavo 'Gus' Carreno to your buddy list. You can’t. Same goes for your ignore list. He is so desperate to not be ignored that he has found a way to prevent anyone from ever ignoring him here. His whole hatred of me stems from my ignoring him in irc {where the ignore feature actually works} for being rude.

Yet, at the same time, I see it as pushing the envelop (that part I am sure of... <chuckle>

I should have been clearer as to what I was referring to.

I was referring to "Joanna from IRC" and others discussing recent visits from other forum members to IRC and what transpired, and things related to that, which has nothing to do with this topic.

In regard to the topic of what is happening in IRC and what that has come to mean in these forum, I think we should treat it like Vegas.

"Joanna from Vegas" would be fine for a forum username, and "Joanna from IRC" is fine.

But in regard to what IRC has come to mean in this forum, similar to the "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" saying, we should adopt the "What happens in IRC stays in IRC" (well, at least stays out of the Lazarus/FPC Forum).

@bogen85 I bet people harassing me with personal attacks is against the forum rules too.The moderators are probably exhausted with forum members bickering.
I think any discourse that isn’t toxic is a big improvement
