A really nice one, and we all missed that? Usually I am quite up-to-date regarding feature commits, but I missed that one.

I now need to work out how to wrestle with the new bugtracker to mark the feature request I logged years ago as satisfied.

If you know the issue number I can resolve this as a duplicate of the one in question.

Would that be this one? https://gitlab.com/freepascal.org/fpc/source/-/issues/25466

Code: Text  [Select][+][-]
  1. Wishlist: predicates to check unit/library/include file exists
  2. Open Issue created 10 years ago by FPC Admin account
  3. Original Reporter info from Mantis: MarkMLl @MarkMLl
  4. Description: Even if only available in development versions of the compiler, it would be useful to have predicates to check that files being referenced were actually available.

I don't, and it's really my responsibility to get back up to speed on this- particularly after I criticised somebody else for refusing to engage with it. So please leave it with me.

OK, I give up. Apparently https://gitlab.com/freepascal.org/fpc/source/-/issues/25466 as provided by Bogen85, but I can't see how to do a bloody thing with it other than append a comment...

You /knew/ that was going to happen, didn't you? :-)
