Android development status
« on: October 02, 2024, 01:15:36 pm »
Hello,
are Android development in Lazarus/Fpc/Lamw enough stable today, or somewhat experimental?
I see that Lamw is at 0.8 version, so it seems pre-release.

It is stable enough.
With the reccomendation that a programmer that works with lamw is also supposed to know at least js/css/json too.
It doesn't come free...
If Europe sells their USA bonds the USD will collapse. Europe can affort that given average state debts. The USA can't affort that. Just an advice...

I agree with this, LAMW is stable, although it may not have all the out of the box capabilities you may find elsewhere, but still has some incredibly useful features, knowing html/css/js is very handy, I have put them to good use in my app, and plan to upload the app to the PlayStore before the end of the year, well, that's my goal anyway.  :)
