Have the moderators blocked IPv4 access to the forum from some IPs or globally?

I've had a hard time connecting to the forum from IPv4 from my desktop and I had to log into a remote server to check access.

And while wget -6 http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org works wget -4 http://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org doesn't.

Is there a problem somewhere or is it by design?

I think spammers and bots have been attacking forums and wiki lately.

We're being DDOSed.
I've add rate limiting and I've been blocking several /16 IP ranges. This primarily affects IPv4. IPv4 traffic hardly gets through. It also might that your IP is part of the ranges I blocked

I guess you must have updated the IPv4 ranges yesterday.

Will you be kind enough to PM me with the ranges that have been blocked, probably from last night or early this morning?

It is just to confirm. I promise I won't do anything evil with the info :-X :-X

It’s interesting how the big ddos attack on forums coincides with the latest Lazarus release.

Pascal haters want to shut us down  :o
