There is no port of TNetHttpClient from Delphi to lazarus

There is an HTTP client: TFPHTTPClient located in packages/fcl-web/src/base/fphttpclient.pp.
If you're looking for .Net stuff, you won't find any.

Apart from that there is lnet, synapse, Indy, bindings for libcurl and some more.

There are no direct advantages in TNetHttpClient over the above libraries.
There is nothing wrong with being blunt. At a minimum it is also honest.
