I reviewed the ZCAD source code, and although I found it quite complex and challenging to understand, I respect the effort and work that has gone into it. LazCAD is built on the CADSys4 library, which is object-oriented and very clean, making it highly extensible, modifiable, and readable.
In our announcement, we emphasized that everyone is welcome to contribute, and we value contributions from all interested parties. If you’re interested in collaborating, we might find ways to work together within the framework of the CADSys4 library or share insights.
Additionally, we are open to you integrating code from LazCAD into your project if it proves useful to you.
