I can help to traduce free components or programs from Delphi to Lazarus
matthius:
Hello !
I have some time to program. I would like to participate to a free project i understand.
I made management and genealogy programs. But they are finished. So do you have a free project me to participate ?

Just a word of caution. It is not a good idea to post personal information such as your address and your phone number in a public forum.
While most people are decent people who will not abuse that information, there are exceptions that can cause you quite a few headaches with it.
I recommend you remove your personal information ASAP.
HTH.

If you are into state machines then you might want to take a look at TStateMachine that I converted from Delphi and which works well in runtime, but in design time has some issues that I could not fix.

I agree, this is very good advice. Especially since internet bots can also "comb" forums in search of data.

Me not, but I have some suggestions for new programs:
- A simplified Lazarus without form designer for plain text programming. It would come handy when opening files from other programs while programming in Lazarus. Depending on the features from syntax highlighting to project integration with code tools it could have a wide range of complexity. Hex view and syntax highlighting of other common languages could be added later.
- A graphic program with basic editing cababilities that is a mixture between IrvanView and Paint. Additionally and on the long run supporting special layers with different editing style like Office-Draw capabilities (vector), gimp capabilities, 2D-CAD capabilities (metric dimensioning). And more you could imagine. I'd call it LayerPaint.
- A beautiful cross platform music player with Lyrics support.
