ZBarcodeView
« on: December 30, 2024, 12:58:45 pm »
Hello, community!

I am developing an Android application using LAMW (Lazarus Android Module Wizard) and would like to integrate the ZBarcodeView component to scan barcodes and QR codes.

Could anyone share a practical example of how to set up and use this component in the context of an LAMW project? I am looking to understand how to add the component, configure it, and capture scan results.

Thank you in advance for your help!

What is ZBarcodeView? Can you give link to it?

Did you try components that come with LAMW for scanning barcodes and QR codes? You have jZBarcodeScannerView and jcZXingBarcodeScan.

In one project I needed to scan QR code, but I used jIntentManager to call external application, because I had some problems with those components (unfortunately I don't remember what problem I had exactly). If you want to do it like that, you have demo in LAMW called AppIntentDemoZXing1.

P.S.: In the future, questions about LAMW post to Android forum (Programming/Operating Systems/Android), maybe you'll get more replies.
