So ignore the error.
Of course not, it is an access violation.. Bloody hell. Probably  amateur nummer8. (Focus on number9)
And yes it is repeatable in trunk too. Your reaction, not the writers of the code: they need to fix it.

So that should be solved, otherwise it is a nice framework.

An access violation in a framework can be compared to the internal errors the compiler throws at unwanted times. Where it is anticipated and can be handled.

The authors of D2Bridge should simply fix the possibility of an access violation.

OMG Thaddy, new medication?
There is no answer from you the last few days without an insult.
Go for it.
As stated the framework installation is at the moment only possible with official installations.
NOT WITH TRUNK VERSIONS.

The access violation mentioned is in the wizzard, not in the framework.
The wizzard prepares for installation of the package file.
But you clearly had figured that out!

The only part of your comment I agree is:
Any access violation within the framework must be taken care of!

So if you have no real contribution to make please refrain from answering.
Or in proper dutch:

@nummer8

Really thank you for your kind explanations. It runs now.

I didn't know about the details of manually compiling, and ignoring missing files of package.

Well, there you have it.
There is little or none in (fpc) trunk that would cause an access violation that is not in 3.2.2 or fixes 3.2.3. (2.1 and 2.2 here: https://wiki.freepascal.org/User_Changes_Trunk )
I do not know, but it is possible that Lazarus trunk has breaking changes, but we discussed just fpc.
So that is a none argument: it should be fixed. Should not happen. And Lazarus is 4.0 here, not 4.99 (which is Laz trunk).
Change your wording. And first check. And address the correct version of the right product.
You did not test.

Thaddy,

Excellent response for a bully. Always demand a moderate response from someone you are communicating with who gives you the same respect you gave him and no this has nothing to do with blunt honesty.

If you had actually looked at all my responses in the thread you would have seen that I ONLY responded to installing the framework. JanRoza's screenshot also showed the Wizzard. My response to his question was also to install the framework.
Out of all the possible responses you could have given, you chose to only be blunt and insulting. That says a lot about you. Especially pathetic that someone of your age (retired) and your level of education (uni) apparently functions at such a low level of social skills. Don't hide behind an entire population (Dutch) or culture (Dutch) because even by Dutch standards you have low developed social skills. That is something I cannot change. But I choose not to put myself in a position to entertain you anymore.
In addition to your behavior, there is a run-time error (access violation), which I did not respond to, that has occurred is indeed a gross error that should be fixed by the creator of the framework.
