Programatically select a cell in StringGrid/DrawGrid but don't invoke OnSelectCe

I have some code in OnSelectCell that needs to be called when the cell is selected by user using keyboard or mouse.

Now I want to select (highlight) that cell programmatically but don't invoke that code. Any ideas, please?
