Save configs to restore after upgrade

Hi all,

I like to use:

• Favorites in Object Inspector
• Editor in Tools|Options
• General in Tools|Options|Examples Project
• LineSplitting in Tools|Options|CodeTools

and other stuff, but not so important...
When I upgrade from 3.0->3.2->3.4, my profile with Lazarus config (.lazarus) goes crazy and I lose everything.

Is there a way to export my configuration above and import it after upgrading or to a new desktop?

AFAIK such a way does not exist. Unfortunately (I would be very happy if it exists).

Maybe you find there some infos how to do it (partly) manually.

I have uploaded an application to Github that allows to export and import some IDE options to/from a Zip file.

It cannot export/import the installed components.

I hope it will be useful for someone.

Warning: the application is barely tested so make a copy of your configuration before importing.
