LAWM - Build APK problems - gnome-terminal -e / --
« on: July 29, 2024, 07:33:03 pm »
Lazarus LAMW setup with fpcupdeluxe 2.4.0e. Just hit the LAMW button.
I was also very close to build apk in another setup, but struggled with some version incompatibility.

Now I think everything is working, except for the Lazarus message window telling me that gnome-terminal no longer supports "-e", and that I'd rather use "--" instead.

I've been searching, but cant find out where to change this..

I've tried some different stuff now..
My computer has dualboot with ubuntu 22.04 (Unity desktop) and Debian 12 (gnome)

Installed LAWM manager on both.
Debian throws the terminal error.
Ubuntu works out of the box. No errors.

Tried logging in on Debian with classic gnome, and the terminal error is gone, but I got other errors that flashed away.. no idea what yet.

As far as I could find out, the Ubuntu terminal also has the -e problem, but LAWM don't seem to care.

How can I force LAMW to use another terminal, or rather use -- instead of -e???

Logging in to Debian12 with Gnome (Xorg) don't throw the -e error
