There is an HTTP client: TFPHTTPClient located in packages/fcl-web/src/base/fphttpclient.pp.
If you're looking for .Net stuff, you won't find any.

Apart from that there is lnet, synapse, Indy, bindings for libcurl and some more.

There are no direct advantages in TNetHttpClient over the above libraries.
If Europe sells their USA bonds the USD will collapse. Europe can affort that given average state debts. The USA can't affort that. Just an advice...
