Anyone using "unit fpmimetypes" on Windows?
« on: July 03, 2024, 10:51:55 pm »
I assume not, because it contains a bug when the known mime types are loaded from the windows registry  (dot not removed from the extension when building the internal hash list) .
So mime types cannot be found based on a file extension in TFPMimeTypes.
Win10/x64/fpc3.2.2.

in FPC trunk this is already corrected: https://gitlab.com/freepascal.org/fpc/source/-/commit/25450a99ed7d01fa0df4b6a156fcbeb8e62a8d94
Edit: I have asked to include this commit in fpc 3.2-fixes, if it is accepted then in the next version of FPC (3.2.4) this will be fixed: https://gitlab.com/freepascal.org/fpc/source/-/issues/40842
