And, as said, everything else is marketing.

^ This is the kicker! With the "popular" languages at the moment, they all have their champions talking about it and the fans then on social media. Meanwhile Pascal is the quiet kid sitting in the corner going about his/her business ... and not much else?

And also for 32-bit microcontrollers: PIC32 Microchip based on the MIPS core as well as from other manufacturers, based on ARM.

Btw, currently the dspic33AK A 32-bit version of the 16-bit harvard version was released. I'm currently on holiday, but hopefully the samples are in the office when I return :_)

(btw, the sample has 16kb ram, which is a tad low for a 32-bitter :-))

Yes; FPC/Lazarus can save the world, but you have to download and install the "Jesus the Messiah" unit. Be advised that this unit will not work as intended unless and until you devote your life to understanding the "SINtax" of its function calls and that you need to cease to rely on any other unit or self-programmed code that attempts to "Save the World."
When any government, or any church for that matter, undertakes to say to its subjects, This you may not read, this you
must not see, this you are forbidden to know, the end result is tyranny and oppression no matter how holy the motives.
