I developed a component related to the use of TDBGrid. At the beginning of the year I had a contact who had access to the OPM to update the DBGridController (https://wiki.freepascal.org/TdxDBGridController)  component that I developed, I tried to contact him but without success. Can anyone direct me to the resource that will be able to push my latest update to the OPM.

Hello.
The same here for uos audio library.
The version given in OPM is old and has some bugs.
I did sent emails to Getmem about the new releases of uos but no movement.
I use Lazarus 2.2.0 32/64 and FPC 3.2.2 32/64 on Debian 11 64 bit, Windows 10, Windows 7 32/64, Windows XP 32,  FreeBSD 64.
Widgetset: fpGUI, MSEgui, Win32, GTK2, Qt.

I don't know what happened to GetMem, since I have not been able to contact him for months. Hopefully nothing bad.

In the meantime I got permission to upload to the OPM repository, and did the first successful updates myself. So, please send OPM update requests as mail to opm@lazarus-ide.org, and I will see it and take care of it.

I hope and pray that GetMem is doing well, he is a wonderful part of the fpc project.

Wp, thanks for your help, I did sent a email to opm@lazarus-ide.org.

Have a nice Sunday.

Although it is quite honorable for an individual to offer services to help out the community, with a central point of software collection and go as far as embedding the features within the tools, which makes it convenient for many. You must remember there are always unforeseen events that can take place, most of them out of people's control.

But I have found its best to have your own local repository, even if its packages you may not even use. So maybe we can have an optional tool that allows interaction between a web search tool that would allow existing known URLs per package to be searched first and then optionally do alternat searches per user decrescent.

I guess it could be integrated within the existing method now.

This is just my opinion and not meant to alarm anyone  :o
