How to configure program runtestscodetools?

I tried to get/find information how should be used program "runtestscodetools" - a part of codetools. So far no luck.

As this problem becomes to me / for us a bit hot  - I need a tool to verify if some work on implementing "dotted identifiers and F2 renaming units" https://gitlab.com/freepascal.org/lazarus/lazarus/-/issues/41002 - was safe for Lazarus.

How should be established a proper environment for executing the program (for Windows and for Linux)?
