TsWorkSheetGrid, merged cells and Picklist

I have a WorkSheetgrid which has a number of merged cells and I would like to use a Picklist. When a Picklist value is selected it spans the merged cells, but the Picklist itself is only visible in the individual cell that is selected and not the merged group and therefore the values are truncated and not readable.

Is it possible to have a Picklist which visually spans merged cells?
