AnchorDocking now looks very wierd.
« on: April 21, 2023, 10:41:17 am »
Good day, I just updated by now to current Lazarus Trunk that included AnchorDocking (and also metadarkstyle is installed)
I do not even know how to describe, just look in attachment.
What causes that?

Lazarus 2.3.0 (rev a82f0d4e39) FPC 3.2.2 x86_64-win64-win32/win64

Conclusion, something wrong is happening when you use FpcUpdeluxe with an installed metadarkstyle.

After closing Lazarus and re-opening that strange looking header do re-appear.

ATM I am not sure if it is caused by metadarkstyle or by the latest trunk of Lazarus.
Before I've updated to latest trunk it was running okay  ;)

I can live with it since I prefer a dark energy saving look even when strange docking-titlebar's appear :D

Hello KodeZwerg, this is an old subject, I know. I also wanted to try the same package and encountered the same weird behavior like you. Long story short, I' ve opened the docking options and unchecked the fill headers box. I don't know if it helps, but for me now when I close and reopen lazarus, it looks ok.

Hi!
I've seen this on old releases, but I haven't noticed it in the new ones.
Perhaps this is a conflict with some other installed packages?

Lazarus does not provide an interface for early launch of packages, but it is important for MDS to be loaded earlier

I don't know, the only packages I've installed are AnchorDockingDsgn 1.0, MetaDarkStyle 0.9 and metadarkstyle dsgn 0.9. I forgotten to say that my OS is windows 10 64 bit and I use trunk for both lazarus and fpc, if it makes any difference.
There is also a minor thing that bothers me. When I hover with my mouse over the component palette and the pop window appears, part of the component's description is not visible because the font size is bigger. Can I decrease the font size there, somehow?
