An error occurs when creating a LAMW project
« on: April 30, 2024, 08:47:43 am »
I installed everything according to the instructions. I'm using laz4android-3.2. Old projects compile, but grable gives an error. When I try to create a new project I also get an error.
What could be the reason? Does it make sense to switch to laz4android-2.2.2?

Installed Laz4android-2.2.2, same error (LAMV April 29, 2024).
Installed the latest LAMW (May 1, 2024), using Laz4android-2.2.2.
Old projects are successfully assembled and apk files are created.
I tried to create a new project. The project is being created, but when trying to place a component (jButton) on the form, the error “AndroidWidget module not found” appears. When you try to open the project properties, everything closes and an error appears, as described in the previous post.
The figure below shows the settings.

It seems that when creating a project, the path C:\laz4android2.2.2\ is specified, but mine is C:\Lazarus\laz4android2.2.2\.
If so, where in the created project can I change the path? It would be better, of course, for LAMW to determine this itself.

Downloaded lazandroidmodulewizard-master 0.8.6.4 from the link: https://codeload.github.com/jmpessoa/lazandroidmodulewizard/zip/refs/heads/master (https://github.com/jmpessoa/lazandroidmodulewizard)
First version from 04/29/2024 10:34, size 143,790,261 bytes.
Second version from 05/01/2024 10:17, size 143,816,504 bytes.
Third version from 05/01/2024 23:59, size 143,816,428 bytes.
1. Old projects, unlike the second version, no longer open, and those that can be opened are compiled, but when launched, the phone lacks buttons and other components.
2. A new project is created, the project parameters open, but when you try to install a button, an error occurs.
3. If in the project parameters I add the path to the library “C:\Lazarus\laz4android2.2.2\components\lazandroidmodulewizard-master\android_bridges\”, then everything works. (In older versions of LAMW this was not necessary).

Here is an example of an old simple browser, which compiled and ran in the second version, but not in the third.

An error occurs when adding any component. However, if you close Lazarus and then run the generated LPR file, the components are added and the project compiles.
Old projects built using Grable are compiled.
