How would you define a field in Tdbf Level 7 as currency?
« on: April 17, 2024, 10:47:38 pm »
I tried this as a test using My Dbf Studio but the drop-down for the field type shows 'currency' but once selected and you attempt to re-structure the table, you get an error message that 'currency type' isn't supported by Dbf Level 7.
I'm sure there should be a field type for this to store a decimal type number, i.e. accounting systems. Sales Orders are in dollars and cents or Eurodollars and cents.

According to https://wiki.freepascal.org/Lazarus_Tdbf_Tutorial you'd need TableLevel 25.

Or define the fields as ftFloat with two decimal places
