TDBDateTimePicker problem with time...

I just attempted to use the TDBDateTimePicker on a form I'm designing for Appointments.  Testing the component works fine for displaying a calendar for selecting a date.  Then if I key in the appt. time, great until I post/save.  Then the component reverts to 12:00 AM.  I've checked all the properties but can't seem to figure out what would cause this...

Anyone know the trick?
