[SOLVED] Strange problem with "Code template completion"
« on: March 04, 2024, 11:59:50 am »
Hi,
I have a strange problem with "asdas". Some completions are not working for me, specifically "trye" (try except), "b" (begin end) and "be" (begin end). Whether I first type "trye" and press Ctrl + J, or first press Ctrl + J and select a template from the list, with these 3 templates the code simply does not generate and the selected template symbol disappears.
Other templates, such as "tryf" work without problems. I have determined that there is something wrong with my Lazarus configuration (on fresh installations the problem does not occur), but unfortunately I am unable to trace the source of the problem. In the "*.dci" file there are definitions for these templates.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem?

I have a lot of components installed and settings changed and I don't want to do it all over again.
I am using Lazarus trunk + FPC 3.2-fixes x86, Windows 10 x64

Problem solved.
The cause of the problem turned out to be the lazarus.dci file located in the configuration folder. After removing it, everything is ok.
