I reply to this old thread because things have changed concerning the IDE title with QT.
There is no more "
IDE title shows project directory" checkbox. Instead there is "
Custom IDE Title" and you can select from the list eg. "
$project(TitleNew) $EncloseBracket($project(infodir))" or you can type your title.
I guess it works because the project directory does not start the title. It has the project name first.
I wanted the project directory there. It is the easiest way to see which project is open. For example many of my test projects are called "
Project1".
BTW, I didn't implement this feature. Martin did.
Earlier question that I didn't notice:
Juha, do you see the other two problems I see ? Attached image is how it opens every time, Lazarus windows all centered. And the mouse cursor icons are all over the place. But both problems go away if I switch it to use X11 instead of Wayland.
You also saw an AV when opening a project with a gtk2 build. I never saw that.
I also don't use Wayland and haven't seen its problems. I don't do much distro hopping or testing any more. I am happy if my Manjaro Linux works without issues.
