Lazarus 0.9.27 - Version from 20.02.09 - Problem with TPanel and Color Property

I#ve installed Lazarus Version 0.9.27 from todays SVN Code, (datet 21.02.09) and found out that there is a problem with the TPanel property.

When i load my projects, the tpanel property "color" is ignored.

Even if i change the property it has no effect on the panel.

Also, if i open a new project and and a TPanel to it, in the designer form the color will be displayed, later in the compiled form, the property is lost again.

This happens when i link against GTK2 as well as GTK.

It does not happen on Win32 using native WIN32 Lataus and Win32 API.

The last 0.9.27 Version (somtimes from October/November 08) doesnt have had this problem.

Is this now a Bug in Lazarus, or have i done something wrong with the SFV checkout ?

Me too. Ubuntu 8.10 FPC 2.2.3 Lazarus 0.9.27 installed on February 11, 2009.

Same problem as you describe for the TPanel Color property. Shows correctly in the Object Inspector but does not affect the Color at Design or Run times. There is similar behaviour with the TSplitter.

That might indicate it is not a problem with what you have done. Then again I probably got it wrong too.

I have noticed that if I have two panels with a splitter separating them with both set to clBtnFace then the one on the right is clBtnFace, or the same Color as that displayed in the Object Inspector, but the one on the left is darker.... more like clInActiveBorder.

Don't know if that might give someone an 'Aha' moment. Just thought I'd mention it.

Edit... just in case (K)Ubuntu means Ubuntu using KDE, you might guess I'm pretty clueless, then I am using Gnome with Lazurus compiled for QT...... I thought I'd mention in case it is of any additional help.

Hmmm, I have the same problem with Lazarus 0.9.26.2 (March 23, 2009) from sourceforge.net.
I have tried a different old revisions... For example, there is no such problem in r16513. But I see it happened in r17154.

p.s. i have registered at bugtracker, but could not receive confirmation mail (perhaps due to .ru zone). Can anybody help me with reseting e-mail? I want to try another e-mail.
