how to uninstall components
« on: January 06, 2024, 05:33:41 pm »
I would like to know if there is any way to uninstall all the lazarus components and leave only the Lamw component

To use Lamw, I am using version 2.2.2 and I do not need to develop for Windows, the standard components are not being used

[I'm using the translator]
Lazarus 3.0 / LAMW 0.8.6.4 - Gradle 8.5 - Jdk 21 - Ndk 21e - Windows 11

You cannot uninstall components in LCL and in LazControls. They are needed by the IDE itself.
You can uninstall some other component packages which are part of the release (BigIde "make" target), using the "Install / Uninstall Packages" window.
Then you can also rearrange the component palette and place Lamw as the first tab so it is active by default. See Options -> Environment -> Component Palette.
The component palette configuration is part of desktop settings. Remember to save your desktop or keep the "Auto save active desktop" checked.
Mostly Lazarus trunk and FPC 3.2 on Manjaro Linux 64-bit.
