FWIW, I use CLion for everything C++.  JetBrains has implemented AI in the CLion IDE.  And while it's super easy to feel like a kid in a candy store with it, it's not quite where it needs to be atm.  But it's going to evolve into a very reliable coding partner.  The refactoring alone is worth its weight in gold!

I hope in time we have the same in the Lazarus IDE.  Such a tool cld prove to be pretty valuable, in more ways than one.

I don't do enough C to justify the $99 (only do embedded small embedded stuff), but CLion certainly looks interesting and I appreciate the link.

So I was confused before, it was the mcas not autopilot that they needed to disconnect. However the plane was not designed to me flown without the mcas and after they disconnected it they were still not able to control the plane. After that it looks like Boeing did the standard routine of  successfully deflecting the blame to flunky employees and pilots. The end result is another corporation murdered people with impunity.
