Excessively large executable sizes?
« on: April 02, 2009, 04:33:06 pm »
I small application I created generated a 29mb .exe.

I suspect it contains a lot of unnecessary libraries and debugging information.

Is there a way to strip it down to only the libraries required?

That white field in the top right corner is not just there to occupate space or for beauty, but its meant to be used.
This question pops up frequently, so those of us who have worked with Lazarus for a long time are aware of it.

And of course one can start making a search, but sometimes, especially for a new user, the amount of information is overwhelming, so I see no need for being rude.
