Of course, that's why i use paging, 50 images x page for example. But i could put 400 images in a page too, because i load only the visible ones and load the others on demand while scrolling.
I don't understand the memory part. I load the images and rescale them. In order to save memory i should create the actual thumbnails on disk and then load them, right? But i don't want escpecially because the whole thing is dynamic.

WHat do you mean? Why do you rotate and flip the images? What this has to do with saving memory?
