Spell checker

I'm in the process of porting a database application from Delphi to Lazarus.  For the application, I've used a 3rd party spell checker.  How about adding this feature to Lazarus?

Isn't that possible with external tools ?

I'm talking about for a TMemo or TRichEdit.  There are external tools for Delphi, is there one for Lazarus?

I mean, in the ide you can define external tools. Maybe have a spelling check for the active unit.

Or do you want to extend the TMemo with a spellingcheck ?

Almindor(2) has added ispell support to the FPC bot, Maybe ask him.

Porting a SpellCheck/Thesaurus component I made in Delphi... already runs in Lazarus... just need to tweak it.
