May be someone is interested how to create a windows deskband  with Lazarus/FPC:

I'm using the InfoBand to show some health information of my NVMe disks in the taskbar.

It's worth noting that desk bands are not supported in Windows 11. A different approach is required to embed a window in the taskbar.

There is no equivalent functionality in Windows 11 as far as I know. Thumbnail toolbars are not permanent visible.
One more reason to stay with Windows 10.
