Would it be feasible to add XMPP to user profile? There is ICQ, AIM and MSN

The others are there from the beginning of the forum, they were defaults back then I guess.

I see no use to expand that. Their usage is very low. In general, you don't want this kind of stuff visible where it could be scraped anyway.

The forum software has a hardcoded list. It allows to disable existing ones, but not to add new ones. So it couldn't be done even if the decision would be otherwise.

There may be add-ons to the forum software, but that adds maintenance during software updates, and as already said: this is deemed of to minor importance for that.
