IDE wont install. Cant download packages from overthewire.com.au

I am trying to install the latest version on my Mint 21.2 Cinnamon machine. The 3 main packages downloaded fine and the 2 fpc packages installed correctly but the actual Lazarus 2.2.6 starts then fails with "Failed to fetch http://mirror.overthewire.com.au/ubuntu/pool/universe/g/gtk%%2b2.0/gir1.2-gtk-2.0_2.24.33-2ubuntu2_amd64.deb 404  Not Found [IP: 139.5.127.195 80]" and many similar errors.

 tried the apt update commands but those urls don't seem to be available. Is anyone else having this problem?

This issue is not about lazarus, but to distro packager. Can you download that package from another mirror and install it ? Does gir1.2-gtk-2.0_2.24 exist in Mint 21.1 at all ?

I can't install it. The synaptics manager tries to download it from the repository

the file is not there, issue is with repository.. report issue to repository maintainers

google gir1.2-gtk-2.0_2.24.33-2ubuntu2_amd64.deb
you can then find out which repository has the file, then add that repository to your package manager.

Thanks. That is what I thought was wrong. The files have moved at overthewire.com.au and all the packages that refer to that site fail. I have sent an email to the contact for overthewire.com.au.

I sent the error messages to the overthewire.com people and they restored a folder which had been moved.
