Hello forum users, how to read files with subtitles. Will it be difficult to write such a procedure?

Depends on the subtitle format but they are basically (all) text files. If it is hard to process such a file (and how to internally store it) depends on your (available) skill-set.

Start with a simple implementation using a stringlist and see how far you are able to get ?
I do not have to remember anything anymore thanks to total-recall.
