[solved] Object inspector hint idisappears before I can read it.

In object inspector I hover mouse over things and it shows hint with a lot of information but doesn’t give me enough time to read it before hint disappears. Is there any way to scale the amount of time a hint is shown in ide to amount of text it contains?

Thank you for showing where to find it I wasn’t sure   

It seems that I have a the “show information box” option already checked.

The thing in particular I was trying to look at in object inspector is published property tpanel.bidimode .. it has quite a lot of text and it impossible to read it before it closes.

It would be nice if Lazarus ide could allow more time to read things with more content.. I’m not sure where the timer for the information box is located. I’d sure like to fix it.

If you move the focus to the bidimode property, then the information box will show the same information. Read as much as you want.

I just tested it again. Yes clicking on the see also links in there will open help which stays open.
When I have line for bidimode property focused it no longer shows the hint but it does show it at the bottom of object inspector. I guess that’s what you meant .

Thanks for the help. It might be easier to just copy the text elsewhere to read
