Quantum Programming - Revisited
« on: August 12, 2023, 08:43:05 pm »
Back in April of 2021, Fred vS queried "QCL - A Programming Language for Quantum Computers"
https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,54098.msg404619.html#msg404619

Since them, quantum computing has moved closer to mainstream. For one, IBM has made quantum computers freely accessible to use:
https://www.ibm.com/quantum/developers

IBM has an open-source toolkit for quantum programming development they've entitled Qiskit [kiss kit]. Within it, they have a transpiler development kit:
https://qiskit.org/documentation/apidoc/transpiler.html
"Qiskit has four pre-built transpilation pipelines. Unless the reader is familiar with quantum circuit optimization methods and their usage, it is best to use one of these ready-made routines."

Anyone willing to take this on?
