Source editor - vertical yellow/green lines in sidebar - how to disable

Are we able to disable the subject vertical bars?

You mean the change indicators (showing if a line was edited, and if it was saved since it was edited)?

There currently is no option for that (there is a feature request, but no timeline yet)

You can set the colors, and if you set all colors the same, then it will just be an empty space.
