Unfortunately I don't have a spare RPI4 at the moment and they are hard to come by.
(And I just repurposed my last RPI3)

Note that RPI3 has a ARM CPU 64 bit.
I have installed Raspberry PI OS 64 bit on some of my RPI3 and fpc works ok, a few faster than on RPi OS 32 bit.
I use Lazarus 2.2.0 32/64 and FPC 3.2.2 32/64 on Debian 11 64 bit, Windows 10, Windows 7 32/64, Windows XP 32,  FreeBSD 64.
Widgetset: fpGUI, MSEgui, Win32, GTK2, Qt.

Yes, it does, but there are some Lazarus problems regarding GTK2 on RPi 4's. These are beginning to be sorted out.
Skip Wayland for the moment on RPi 4. Lazarus on RPi 4 using Wayland can give troubles.

Ha, ok ( I use a widgetset that directly uses Xlib (or XWayland) so I do not know those kind of problems ).

Hello.
I installed a new system and Lazarus 2.0.10 FPC 3.2.0 64 bit
I have installed component Lazserias and Indi .
Synapse via online packger manager cannot be installed.
Lazarus freezes.

Last week, I installed Ubuntu x64 on an RPI4 instead of RpiOS x64 because of its limitations and old packages.
Then I installed lubuntu-desktop and removed most gnome packages to make it lightweight.

On that system with lazarus-ide-qt and libqt5pas-dev, I was able to install synapse with OPM, and also, I built a complex program that uses synapse (synaser). - with QT5 widget set.

I've been trying to do this for a long time, so I finally replaced the raspbian buster with RasPi OS x64 (64-bit) and without any problems synapse installed via OPM and works.
I use Lazarus trunk and FPC fixes installed via fpcupdeluxe

Yes, I just updated one of my RPi 4 to test that and it works without the old hick-ups.
Reminder to self: update more often.

Note that I never experienced any problems with FPC, just Lazarus and that looks fixed with the RasPi AARCH64 OS update. (not x64: that refers to Intel)
