how to change the background of the whole left gutter

hi,
i use dark theme and like to set gutter background to white or even something light.
how it looks now:

This is about configuring the IDE? Not a TSynEdit on a form of your project?

In Tools > Options > Editor > Display > Colors

There is a whole section with Gutter related colors in the tree.
You may have to change several of them.

It looks like you changed "Gutter > Current Line ...".

Each column in the Gutter ("Code folding", "Line number", "Gutter separator", "Modified line") has a setting for its own background.
- If set, it needs to be changed
- If not, it will default to the main "Gutter" (just "Gutter" as name, inside the "Gutter" section of the tree) background color which also needs to be changed.

If you changed them all, post your settings please (export (button, top/right) your colors as a new scheme)

I don't know if the dark theme interferes with the editor color settings... Not using it myself.
So maybe test your color settings without that first... (or maybe someone else here knows...)

As in LV's image.

You can

1) set the default for the gutter "color"

2) Select "Parts" => then a btn with "..." appears on that row, and opens a Window with all the parts
3) Select each part, and edit its colors "MarkupInfo.Background"

There is a small issue though.

The TSynGutterMarks and TSynGutterMarks do not publish it.  But it probably defaults to the main gutter color...

If not, it must be changed in code (or the unit edited to publish it, and the IDE rebuild)
