I still can't believe it. He was very passionate in game development. He motivated me and told me what game he was going to develop. He played plenty of RPG games and planned many of the features in his game. Rest in peace.

Maybe he got conscription notice {at age >40 !!} or something and didn’t expect to survive combat. It’s amazing he could program at all under such stressful conditions.

Eugene Loza passed away this Monday, I'm afraid. I wrote a bit more details on the Vinculike Discord (one of his games), citing it below.

It's incredibly sad. I loved him as a friend, and as part of Castle Game Engine. Now he's gone.
