Sorry, but what is CodeTyphon? I have looked at your site but found nothing except it is lazarus + freepascal in one package. What advantages does it has? Maybe some third party components?

CodeTyphon is:

1) Freepascal-Lazarus "Control System"
2) Freepascal-Lazarus "Building System"
3) Has some tools (Settings editor,Res Editor, UPX and Strip Form interfaces, etc).
4) Yes, we plan to release third party components source code:
(Graphics32, AGGpas, GLScene, VirtualTrees, ZeosDBO, PascalScript, Vampyre Imaging Library,
      win_SAPI (32/64), win_MIDI (32/64), win_DirectX (32/64) etc...)

Think Codetyphon as Extended Freepascal-Lazarus IDE

Look at Our Gallery:

Have fun

CodeTyphon Project is a Distribution of Lazarus IDE and FreePascal compiler.

Very interesting distribution.  I recently released the opposite type of distribution - the minimal files needed to compile several simple example programs using FreePascal.

Today I installed the latest 0.888 (Beta) CodeTyphon on a fresh install of the new Debian 5.0 LXDE OS.

Don't feel offended, but instead of wasting your time in those things, why don't you help the Lazarus/FreePascal community itself by improving the code?

Now let's really try not to offend the guy.

Hey, that's a nice initiative, it may help to spread Lazarus and fpc, thus gaining in popularity.
If you have time to spare, it would also be nice if you could help improve the code of Lazarus/fpc itself!

Bye,

Bart

I think CodeTyphon concentrates on the right things: easy deployment and usage. It is not waste of time!
I guess it also has a business mode by selling support for the product.
I see an analogy to Linux kernel and distros. Nobody would use Linux if there were no distros.

Mostly Lazarus trunk and FPC 3.2 on Manjaro Linux 64-bit.
