Raspberry Pi Debug Probe (and maybe Lazarus)

Has anyone used this:
Raspberry Pi Debug Probe
? How does it work in practice? Does it have any advantages over a second RPi Pico working as a hardware debugger? I am asking because the manufacturer or store is not always impartial in its assessment.

I have not used it but as it is based on RP2040 and uses picoprobe I do not see a difference to using a 2nd Raspi for debugging.
