I wanted to learn about pas2js and the HTML DOM (starting from no knowledge) and combined that with interest in Canadian syllabics to make this little app on my website.

Not fancy, and lots of areas that could be improved, but it functions. More information in the "About this site" activity on the page. Free Pascal source is on GitHub.
