I was messing around with tachart yesterday and saw that the barchart seemed to work in any color you wanted as long as that color is red:o .  Is this a known defect or am not using it correctly?

fyi:  I am running fc8 and Lazarus 0.9.26

Should be fixed by http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=13184.

In the future, please use bug tracker to register bugs, so they will not be lost.
