[SOLVED] ZEOS MySQL MariaDB named pipes

Hi All,

how can I connect to MySQL / MariaDB using named pipes?

The DB is setup correctly, I can connect with HeidiSQL

It turns out it's only half solved so at the moment I don't have a full solution. I am searching elsewhere to find the correct way.
It seems that here is not the ideal place to get help on this topic.
I have remarked as 1/2 solved and will post a solution when I have one. OK?

Maybe you should have posted in Databases or an OS-specific sub-board instead of General?

Add these two lines to properties

MYSQL_OPT_NAMED_PIPE
MYSQL_OPT_PROTOCOL=3
